Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Birth details you enter: date, time and place of birth, used only to calculate your horoscope or porondam.
• A name, if you choose to give one. This is saved only on your own phone or computer to label your charts.
• For paid services: your name, email address and/or mobile number so we can send your report and confirmation.
• Payment information is handled by PayHere. We receive only the payment status, amount and reference number. We never receive or store your card number, CVV or banking passwords.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the website working and to understand which pages are useful. This does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

• To calculate and show your horoscope, porondam and readings.
• To deliver paid reports and send payment confirmations.
• To answer your questions and handle refund requests.
• To fix problems and improve the website.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the trusted services needed to run the website, and only as much as each one needs:

• PayHere (Sri Lanka): to process payments securely.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Supabase: secure database storage for saved charts and orders.
• Anthropic: to help write the plain-language text of readings from your chart. Your name, email and phone number are not sent for this.
• Government or law enforcement authorities, only when Sri Lankan law requires it.

How long we keep it

Calculated charts are kept so that links you share with your family keep working. Order and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes under Sri Lankan law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except records we are legally required to keep.

How we protect it

The whole website uses secure HTTPS encryption. Access to our database is restricted, and payments happen on PayHere's PCI DSS compliant payment page, not on our servers.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your recent charts and your light/dark display setting. This stays on your device. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us and we will respond within 14 days.

Children

Parents often create horoscopes for their children. We only collect what is needed for the calculation, and paid services must be bought by an adult.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
